I am a banker, a recovery officer and there is no denying the fact that internet is vital and really important to my line of work. It makes my work relatively easier and saves me a whole lot of stress.
We all know the advantages of the Internet and I don't want to bore you with talking about it but I would definitely talk about how the internet has eased my work considerably.
As earlier mentioned, I am a recovery officer that works with a bank and the internet is needed for me to spool out the lists of my customers for that month. I need the internet to connect to the bank's database so I can easily filter and copy out my brief for that month.
After copying my brief for the month from the bank's database, I have to use the internet to get the details of each customer as well. It saves me the unnecessary stress of paper works and I wouldn't have to go all the way to the Credit Bureau to demand for the details of any customer when I can easily do that with a single click with the help of the internet.
Because I am a recovery officer, I am required to schedule a visit to unyielding customers and these are areas I might never have been to before. Rather than asking for directions at every single turn, I can easily make use of the Google Map with the help of the Internet to navigate my way with my driver with me. The internet has made it relatively easy for me in this regard.
I am also expected to give reports on each customer and there is a database we have to submit it on called Qualco App. It cannot run offline and without the internet, there is no way I can upload each detail and give the bank a report without having to file too many paper works. With Qualco, it is just a click away and the bank would see each report on every customer.
When covid struck as well and we were not required to come to the office for social distancing, the Internet was the saving grace with the series of meetings we had on Teams and the double reports we were expected to present. Without the Internet, there is no way we would have done the reporting since we have been mandated never to show up in the office. It would be a complete waste of units if we are all expected to call to give these reports. The internet just made it easy, smooth and seamless.
I am a banker and for effective work of details, reporting and engaging with customers through their details without having to go through bulky paper works, the internet has made my work relatively easy and I am thankful for it.
