I bring you warm steemit greatings from cameroon, the land of promise and trust we all are doing great .
Today started on very high gear for me as I was super excited within me.
Yesterday I traveled from bamenda to Yaounde with my family so they could go and settled in for the academic year 2021/2022.
We arrived very late, a story for yesterday diary ,so we just had to sleep scattered, so this morning, when I woke up by 6am, I immediately started with arrangements, first was the fixing of the babies drying stand.

From the drying stand I moved to setting up the beds, which I finished sometime around 10am and went to the market to purchase gas and a matrass for the kids and arrived home on a bike , finished setting up the bed and setting up the
kitchen ,when my baby cooked some ground nuts, which we set at 2 pm.
All this while the mother of the house had gone to school to follow-up with the children's registration at school. Which she returned at around 4 successful and with items to cook "ero and water fufu" a local delicacy from the southwest regions of cameroon.
Cooking took some precious ,2 hours and food was ready by 6 pm after eating, I left for the park as I had to travel to bamenda, by night to reach in the morning.

I arrived the park at 7:29 on and paid my ticket and we took off by 10 pm, all was going well untill the bus had a break down, ,3 hours in to the 8 hours jurney, and as I speak with you now we are stranded in one isolated lane hoping, that a different bus arrives so we continue the jurney.
Let me know if you have ever experienced this kind of jurney before in the comments section.

Great write up sir...
You must be very tired after traveling to Yaounde, parking and arranging the house, not having enough time to rest and still traveling back to bamenda. Hope you get enough rest when you're in bamenda.
Stranded on the road in the night in the middle of no where can be very discouraging and frightful. I have been stranded before at Santa at night when returning from bandjoun and the car I entered was mostly with old people, I and driver had to change the tire and when I climb up the Costa bus to get the spare tire I cracked the screen of the phone I was using by then because I was using the led light on my phone, my cloths got dirty but we changed the tire of the car and left.
Well it was nice reading your dairy .
Stay safe.

It’s heartbreaking to experience car breakdown especially at night. A situation i will never dream of because I once experienced it when I was traveling from Bamenda to Douala. The worst of it if you have an appointment to catch up, it’s so frustrating. I almost lost my flight due to car breakdown. One thing that usually keeps me safe from such bad situations is that I just console myself, and believe that everything happens for a reason. Any disappointment is an open door for an appointment.

Its a really had experience , e pass ma power
