The world peace day which is slated for the 21/09/2021, was in bamenda celebrated on Saturday 18/09/2021 , this is due to the sociopolitical crisis on going in the northwest and southwest regions of cameroon, were the seperatise fighters decleared a 14 days ghost town , at which time only Fridays , Saturday, and Sunday will be open for people to buy food stuffs.
In this regards we decided to celebrate the day on the 18/09/2021 and do a documentary vedeo that will be watched on the 21/09/2021.
The celebration this year was centered around the role of youths in global peace building and the celebration was led by D4D (dance for development) ,DIFY HATE NOW ,and @peacemakers.
The event started at 11am with check in and a welcome word from @mbozekobrice followed by the the first presentation done by Blaise (afro sniper) on understanding the concept of peace, violence, and war.
His presentation lasted ,15 minute's
Next was a peace poem coodinated by Yanice this was a very inspiring moments as all the participants contributed a line in this pice of arts which I will be sharing with your sometime later this week.
After the poem was a 2 minutes eyes breaker.
The the role of artist, in peace building was presented next by NAS as professional director of photography.
Followed by the role of semen in conflict resolution presented by AMANDA which lasted 25 minutes.

The next presentation in the series was , understanding humanitarian principles and non violence communication , this sensitive topic was presented by Etoh Hamza the coordinator of the global visionary network, it was very engaging with the participants asking many questions.

This presentation marked the end of the first part of the celebration and the begining of the second face, which was the steemit blog.
This presentation done by @peacemaker on the role of the steemit blog in peace building was the first he had ever done, here we analyse the blog stressing on the importance of it to young people who are complaining every day on the internet as not being employed, and the reason the go in to the different malpractice.
At the end of the presentation we had 11 persons who indicated and gave their contact for mentorship .
We had lunch after that and that was it for the day.
