The Diary Game: Escaping Accident On My Way To Work (11/10/2024)

Hi there, @purpleidy23 is here again with her diary, please pardon me, I was unable to share yesterday due to black out we had in our area yesterday, so my phone was down, hope I am forgiven, okay so let me talk about my Friday, did I remember to wish you all Happy Weekend, okay I just did.

The company's driver called me very early, infact he was the one that woke me up from sleep, he told me the bus was ready that I should remind my colleagues about it, since I did that before now, I just went to the kitchen and fixed myself breakfast, then washed some of my clothes, my roomie did the same.

When we finished with our laundry, we went to work. At the office, the bus was already there waiting for us so we could join, when we were all complete the bus left the office premises and we headed to Ikom for field work.

Almost half way to our journey, the bus started making some noise, we told the driver about, it became really worse at some point, so the driver pulled over to observe what it was, just there we saw that it was the fuel pump had scattered and the fuel was actually rushing out, we were advised to run away from the bus incase of fire outbreak.

I couldn't stopped telling God thank you for such miracle, I mean what would I tell my mom? She wouldn't survive my loss, I just went and sat down where everyone was, the issue was reported to our ASM, we were told to come back to the office and forfeit the day's work.

Low key, I was happy there was no work and of a truth I was and I am still grateful to God for such miracle. When we got to the office, we were asked to go back home and had our rest.

Just as I arrived home, I changed into something else and went on my knee to sing some praises to God then went out to sweep the compound. When I finished sweeping, i bought some snacks and took for my lunch then took some rest.

I woke up quite late into evening, so I went to the nearby store to buy some foodstuffs for dinner as my roomie had gone out on a date with her boyfriend so I was home all by myself through out the evening and I slept alone again.

When I prepared my dinner, I just ate it then struggle to bed again because I was bored alone without my phone and that was my day. Thank you for keeping up with me.
