The Diary Game: Spending Monday At Home (28-10-2024)

Hi everyone, @purpleidy23 is back today with a more interesting diary to share. Mondays are considered as punishment for weekends but for me, it was quite the opposite, oops, I am saying too much already, let me tell you how my day went.

I couldn't believe it was Monday already, I was all caught up with sleep because last night, I spent it having so much fun with my roomie and my co-tenants, I had to suffer for sleeping late.

I was able to wake up by 7am, I checked my wristwatch because my phone was down and I was just struggling to charge it because we had light that morning. When I was done with morning chore, I just took a picture of myself before leaving for work.

Breakfast didn't even cross my mind because I was very late to work, infact before I could get to work, the bus had left and I was just there at the office without doing anything for today, they were just going to deduct my salary anyways, so I went back home and rested.

When I got back home, my landlord's baby came in, this boy doesn't ever want to see me just have a lone time, he is always in me, he asked I should carry him, of course I did because he is my boy, I was able to pet him back to sleep then went out to fetch water.

When I finished fetching the water, I got a call from my ASM, he told me I won't be punished today for not joining others to work because today happens to be the only day I wasn't joining my colleagues, I was so happy, infact the news alone changed my down mood. So I just went inside to prepare rice.

I couldn't prepare it in the afternoon so I arranged the dirty varender my neighbor left to work then took snacks and went to my bed to sleep as this Monday unlike every other Mondays was for rest. I watched some videos online then I didn't even know when I slept off, I just slept off and woke up by 6pm.

When I woke up, I rushed to the kitchen to prepare jollof rice because my roomie will soon be back and she never ate anything when she left in the morning, I quickly prepared jollof, within 1 hour, I was done with it and it was delicious, soni dished if for myself and remained for my roomie.

When my roomie came back, she bought suya for me, I ate it and then took my bath, before I went to bed, I shared my Saturday diary here on steemit and then dropped my phone so I could go back to bed because it was 9pm already getting to 10pm.
