Steem Cameroon Contest : National or International awareness day Contest (S6-W02)

INTRODUCTION

Hello amazing Cameroonians how are you all doing I hope all is well and you are all enjoying your day, today I will be taking part in a contest organised by the @steem-cameroon titled "National or International awareness day"

In Nigeria we have so many well recognised international days which are being marked out in other to celebrate and honour a particular events, something, someone etc.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE DAY?

So here the very special national or international awareness day that I will be talking about is always celebrated in Nigeria annually which is the international "children's day"

Children's day is a very special day in Nigeria celebrated on 27 may, it is a day mark down to celebrate, appreciate and honour childrens all over the world and in Nigeria.

HOW DO YOU OR YOUR COUNTRY OR YOUR ORGANIZATION CELEBRATE THE DAY?

How we Nigerians celebrate the international children's day is always very simple, every school in each local governments area will come out to the local government stadiums to do some match pass and other performances.

And the local government chairman and even the paramount ruler of that local government will be there to appreciate the children and the hard work of the teachers from those different schools presents.

And also the governor will also address all the children through the radio station and television channels educating the public that there should learn to appreciate and support the childrens because there are the future leaders.

WHAT IMPACT DOES YOUR COMMUNITY GAIN DURING AND AFTER THE COMMEMORATION?

The celebration of childrens day in our country Nigeria always has so many benefits to the community after the commemoration of the ceremony.

In a way that it helps educate the public about the fundamental rights of every child, and it also helps reduce the rate of child abuse and all other things that threatens the well being a child.

The celebration of the international children's day helps highlight out the importance of childrens in our society and also a create and strengthen the bond that exist between parents and childrens.

WHAT ISSUE OR CONCERN WILL YOU RECOMMEND TO BE COMMEMORATED THIS WEEK AND ON WHAT DATE?

The celebration of the international children's day is always very important because it helps us to see the importance of childrens in our society and it also serves as an agent that helps defend a childs right.

But what I will recommend for this year upcoming childrens day celebration which is on the 27 may, I think the government should use that opportunity to create a law that will seriously defend the rights of a child to avoid child abuse an trafficking.

CONCLUSION

In the commemoration of the international children's day we all need to work together with the governments to increase the general public awareness about the right of a child and their importance in the society.
