My diary game; 11/12/2024: Renovating My House.

Greetings to my humble and highly respected steemians all over the world. I salut you from my motherland Cameroon. Welcome to my blog and have a great time sharing my diary with me. On this day, I'm renovating my apartment.

Series of activities

While I'm up on this special morning, I felt really tired following the overdue work I carried on the previous night. That not going to stop me as I knew I still had a lot to do. Instead I jump out of bed as I knew there's still a long way to go as the day proceeds.

In the bathroom, I cleaned my teeth and cleanse my face. Afterwards I move to the kitchen and put some coffee water on current (electric). I equally move out to the store to buy some milk and bread which I will be having breakfast with.

Few minutes later, the water was heated and I had returned from the store as well. Getting a tea cup, I prepared my coffee and took it as breakfast before I could resume with other activities of the day.

Done with breakfast, I start work immediately, I began y pushing my couch to one end of the seating room and and covering them with sheets to avoid dust falling on them. Equally I make sure anything that could be stained was set aside to one Conner or in another room.

I began by working, first by scrubbing the wall to remove the old paint from there. This is a very combasom task as the walls are solid. This gave me blisters at some point, but yet I still have a long way to go.

Scrubbing took me almost 2 hours before I could go a bit further. The reason I decided to do this is because water has previously accumulate on particular side of a wall dirtying the paint on it. It look awkward, perhaps required a change.

After a series of scrubbing exercises, I finally was able to do it for the whole salon. From here I proceed to wet the walls a bit in order that the could hold the paint firmly. I bought white paint at list 4 mini buckets as estimated to cover the job.

After opening the paints I mix it with water to reduce the viscosity and also to increase the quantity. I began by putting on the white paint. Initially i have speculated to change the paint from previous orange white to grey white this time. The parts that needed the white paint were colored accordingly.

Proceeding this took several minutes as I had to do it in a serious of event. First time , white wash, second time application and lastly finishing. By the time I'm done putting on white, I allowed it to dry a little while I go out to grab some lunch.

With all the work at hand I can not even have time to prepare something. So I move out to one of the eatery around me to get some thing for lunch. As you can see I was able to order some rice and egussi soup. It was quite good and I enjoyed equally.

Leaving the place, I return to the house and resume work. I began mixing the grey paint. Of which I equally apply it to the necessary part of the walls. After a series of run downs, I was able to round with the walls.

This time, I decided to try out something new with the roof. It's been plain wood, clean but due to the water tragedy, it dirty some parts. I decided I would paint All of it on trial. I was impressed on it look upon completion.

Afterwards, I began cleaning the debris from the walls and equally the paint droplets. Several hours of intensive work, I finally rounded up with the work. It was already around 8:00 p.m. so exhausted and tired, I decided to take a shower immediately before going to bed.

On a scale , I thank God for a successful day like this. I couldn't believe I will get it done in one day, but I did. So I'm really grateful for all. Thank you equally for reaching up till this point. Stay blessed with @rafk blog.
