Hello fellow steemians. Trust we are doing great. I wish to share with you all a rundown or a diary about how my day, the third day in the month of April went like. Firstly, I woke up a little bit late that was at 6:30am due to the fact that I had a late sleep in the night.
Had a conference to attend, a personal development summit. A conference that I had been anticipating due to the rich nature of its content. Conferences like this help to build one’s self in the area of personal development which is a vital and a core aspect to develop. See the graphic of the summit below.
Left the house by 8:45 and was able to arrive the event ground by 9:30. Just after that the conference began with the host, one of the countries influential young people giving us a charge for the program on the reason why many people attend personal development events year in, year out but yet their lives would always remain the same. I quickly share with you my dear reader 4 of these reasons why you can attend a personal development event( These are events that are designed to build capacity in one’s life in different areas that are of a high benefit primarily to person) and yet you go back unchanged.
- Absence of intentionality in practicing the things gotten from the seminar, conference or event
- Inaction or the unwillingness to engage into acting
- Lack of consistency which is the bed rock to character formation
- No push for going the extra mile. The inability to apply extra effort which is what produces result
We later dived into the different sessions for the day which was so enriching. Closed by 3:40pm.
I later retired to church for choir rehearsals against Easter Sundays celebration. From there I came back home did some few things watched an inspiring movie then I retired to bed.
Thanks for reading. Hope this episode blesses you
