The Diary Game 3: Celebrating Easter Playing at a musical Concert. (03/31/2024)

As a Christian and today being Easter Sunday, i got up from bed really happy because on this day, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Easter is the reason for the Gospel, because the Gospel is preaching the good news how Jesus died for our sins and resurrect again on the third day.

I got up from bed really late due to my activities of the previous day. I got up from bed by 7am, which was unusual because i am always up by 6am latest to prepare for church so i dont go late. Because i woke up late, i went to church late. When i was up, i did not do my usual morning routines because of time but rather went straight to the bath, had a warm shower, dressed up and went to church. I even left the house without eating because of time.

By 9:30am, i was in church when praise and worship was already going on, i sat behind, i didn't join rest of the music team since i didn't had plans finishing church service. Its Easter Sunday so i had to go for a musical concert themed " The Master Easter " which usually holds once every year on Easter Sunday.

By 11:30am, i left church to the venue for the concert to help with some arrangements and as well do a sound check with my instrument before the start of the program. I gave a helping hand in arranging the chairs, setting up of the stage.

There was tomuch heat in the hall such that i had to take off my jacket to continue arranging the hall. After setting up the hall, around by 1pm, all the instrumentalist claimed on stage to do a general sound check and balance before the start of the program.

Even though it was written on the flyer that the program will start by 2pm, we actually started at 2:30pm due to technical issues. When we started, the hall was half fall but towards the end, there was no space for people to seat. Some were standing outside of the hall. When the program was half way gone, we had to hear a speech from the sponsor and organizer of the program. He was out of the country, in Dubai precisely so he did a video and sent which was played to the hearing of all withing the concert on a LED wall/screen.

The concert continued with guest invited from different cities to come and sing. It was indeed glorious as we celebrate Jesus. The program ended at 6:30pm, we took some group pictures immediately afterwhich i had to go home since my place is really far. About 45 minutes drive provided there is no traffic couple with the security issues we have in the region. By 8pm, i was already home tired. I went to the kitchen, made something to eat as i called it a day.
