Its a sad thing that new health challenges keep coming up despite all efforts put in place.

Its a sad thing that cholera is on it again, its just been announced today and death cases are already recorded.
Cholera is caused by a bacteria called vibro cholerae and its main signs and symptoms are vomiting and passing out of watery stools .
Most frequently these 2 happens at thesame time thus the rate of dehydration is rapid and can easily lead to death.

deaths recorded already with increasing victims

preventive measures such as;

• strict hygiene; wash your hands thoroughly after
• touching any dirty objects or before eating
• maintain a clean environment free from flies
• properly wash friuts before eating
• cook food properly
• use Aquatabs to purify water or use filters
  In case of suspected cases,
• Hydrate Patient with ORS solution which can be prepared from home.( 1l of water, level teaspoon salt, small lemon or limes, 8 cubes of sugar)
  Patients should continue hydration while going to the nearest hospital

Note; cholera is very very contagious especially when you come in contact with an infected person
