North west region of cameroon is a land where most of the Cultivation Of Irish Tomatoes is being mostly done and the also Contribute to the greatest percentage of food Cultivation in cameroon.
North west region of cameroon has been considered and regarded as one of the region with the the highest Cultivation Of Irish Tomatoes in cameroon.

Some Condition That Favor The Cultivation Of Irish Tomatoes InThe North West Region Of Cameroon

• Soils

Northwest region is blessed with fertilized soil which enable the growth of irish potatoes the reason is because the have vast land which the can cultivate in a very large environment and such villages that has contributed to this large Cultivation are santa, big babaki, small babaki
Bambili and many other community.

• Climate

Climate also Contribute to the large havest like at higher temperature do not favor the growth of irish potatoes while at lower temperature also Contribute to the growth of irish potatoes in the north west region

• Manuel

Northwest region is blessed with enough cow donk which helps them to cultivate at a very large environment which is what keeps the north west region going at avery high rate

• humidity

They also have a humidity of about 90%which help them growth at a very high rate

Some Diseases That Affect The Cultivation Of Irish Tomatoes in the North West Region Of Cameroon

• potatoes blind

It is a deases that affect the potatoes from growing so traditional method are always used to protect the growth of the irish potatoes such as the use of wood ashe.

• Insect infection

Some insect such maggots also affect the growth of irish potatoes which can hinder the productivity of the irish potatoes.

• Forsarium wilt

It is a deases that affect the potatoes growth from the beginning and progresses to the top.it is also know as a bacterial infection commonly known as Forsarium Oxysporum.

It has created alot of employment to many young as.the engaged themselves in to farming

• Source of energy

It selves as a source of energy since many people are mostly peasant and cultivate from their farm mostly for house consumption.
This important because , without food we will not be able to as a source of energy we will not be able to make of our agricultural processes.

• Vitamins

It helps to provide the various vitamin for a healthy body systems such as vitamin k which came from sun through the food we eat.
