Diary game for 5/012025: My first Sunday in 2025

Greetings great people and happy new year to you all. I'm excited that we all made it into 2025 and I'm happy to be here to share my first Sunday diary game with you.

As I woke that song kept ringing in my head while I was preparing to leave for church, so I started singing the song and worshipping God.
I was like God, who am I that you're so mindful of?
Then I remembered a friend that was buried on the 28th of December 2024 just three days to crossing over to the new year. All her dreams and plans for the new year went into the grave😭.

That thoughts made me to apologized and ask for forgiveness if I ever took for granted the love and mercy of Almighty towards me and my loved ones.

So I continued in my usual preparation, eventually I was off to church.

At Church
I'm always very time conscious when it comes to church, so when I reached the opening prayers was still going on so I settled in and I joined in the prayers.
After that it was time for worship and praise and one of our praise team members that was supposed to do a backup didn't come on time so I stood in to filled the gap because I saw the need to and I didn't know that @missyleo my friend captured me singing 😀( thank you dear for the pic).👇

After the worship and praise, the choirs ministered and every other activities were carried out. Then my pastor mounted the pulpit and preached on the "Benefits of seeking and serving God".
And trust me the teaching was very timely, encouraging and gives hope. It gives hope in the sense that we are not serving God in vain; He's a rewarder of those who diligently serve Him.

After that tithes and offerings were received alongside our Communion as yesterday was the first Sunday of the month.
Then after few announcement and the benediction,the service came to an end.

So I waited for the mass choir meeting and rehearsal regarding the state function that's coming up so that we can minister there.
After that I came back home very hungry as I don't always eat most of my mornings to church.

I got home, I had melon soup so I quickly made eba to eat(I didn't remember to snap as I was rushing to meet up with my high school meeting before they'll fine me for coming late).
I quickly poured water on my body to calm the heat of the sun, dressed up and left to the location of the meeting.

After the following agenda were discussed, the meeting came to an end.

6. Presentation of EYPP report by the chairperson or any committee member
7. Responses from members if any.
8. Closing prayer
9. Refreshment

Finally I got home around 7:45pm, all I needed was to eat and then climb my bed, but I didn't want to eat the melon soup again for the night I had to summoned the strength to make noodles 😀.👇
