This is a story of the Boss and his interviewer turned employee. Among everyone that went for the interview, this young lady's performance was top notch and was impressed by the interviewer (The Boss).

Instantly, she was employed and given appointment letter to resume work the next day. Something happened and she was fired (sacked) without even resuming work the next day. Fasten your sit belt Steemian, it's getting so interesting.

In the City of Eket situated a construction company looking for professional Civil Engineers to employ. Notice for interview was sent out and people came from different Cities to apply for the job. After the application from the applicants. Qualified applicants were invited for the Interview.

The day for the interview came and all the qualified applicants were present. The interview started, different applicants went in for their interviews and came out but there was this particular young lady by name 'Ekamma' whose performance at the interview captured the Employer's attention and the Employer was impressed by her performance and instantly employed her.

She was given an appointment letter, followed by a free accommodation, a free car and other incentives to resume work the next day. She was very excited and the Boss (Employer) out of excitement with her performance invited her for lunch.

They drove off to have their lunch at a restaurant. The Boss asked 'Ekamma' to place her orders and she did. Boom, the orders (food) arrived and 'Ekamma' was still very excited. She thanked her Boss for the lunch and proceeded to eating it.

Ekamma prayed over her food, reached out to salt, poured it into her food without even tasting the food. Her Boss was so surprised why she poured salt into her food without even eating it. Her response shocked her Boss.

She replied that she knows that the food will need salt that's why she puts in some salt before eating. She was fired (sacked) by her Boss immediately and all incentives withdrawn from her. Ekamma was surprised how she was fired before even resuming the work and demanded to know what she did wrong.

Her Boss told her that she can't work in the construction company again because she'll be making assumptions at all times. Assumptions in measurements of construction materials and every other thing without verifying or making research on it.
Ekamma was so sad, she regretted accepting the offer to go for lunch with her Boss. She left the restaurant crying bitterly because she was sure the job will change the standard of living in her family.

• Always verify something or make a research before you conclude.

• Not every offer should be accepted.
