Steem Cameroon Contest - My Short Movie Script: Cartoon Animation (New Year Resolutions)

Good day steem Cameroon community, I have always admired this contest, and today Im glad I'm able to participate in it. Before I begin I would love to invite @zekanem, @usoro01 and @ekemini01 to participate in this wonderful contest.

Elections are like contests where we vote, here people decide who leads them or makes important choices for them in crucial times. It's an event for everyone to participate in and choice good leaders for the betterment of their community or country. Most candidates run campaigns to convince people to vote, and the one with the highest vote wins, reflecting the collective will of the people.

Fairlock's Redemption: Unveiling the Rigged Election."

Mr Franklin - Electoral candidate.
Mr Peter - Electoral candidate.
Patrick - Concerned citizens.
John - Concerned citizens.
David - Concerned citizens.

There was an election in a small town call Fairlock, the electoral candidates, Mr Franklin and Mr Peter were vying for the position of the town's president, the citizens has casted their vote believing in the power of a free and fair election. However little did they know that Mr Franklin had hatched a plan to rig the election, behind the scene. He had already bribed a few electoral officials to swap ballot boxes to ensure his success in the election. After the voting process was over, and it was time for the counting of votes, what was counted didn't rhythm with what the citizens had voted, everyone was shocked.

Mr Franklin was declared winner, the crowd were all shouting and scolding the officials as they couldn't imagine how their trustworthy town could elect a wrong leader. Days passed, and the consequences of the rigged election started to show, as Mr Franklin started using the government's money for his personal use only, all the promises he made, he kept to Non.

The towns citizens on the other hand were not one's to be fooled for long, Patrick, John and David and a group of concerned individuals gathered together to investigate the matter, and unravel the truth about the election. Through their consistent efforts, they were able to gather enough evidence related to the rigged election, After everything was in the Open, the town was shocked to hear that Mr Franklin has rigged the election for his benefits.

There was an emergency town meeting the next day, The people demanded for justice, so they decided to vote again. On the day of the second election, this time being free and fair, Mr Peter emerged as winner. He did right by the town and the people began to heal from the effects of the rigged election.
