Hello my fellow steemians, am sure you guys are fine ooohh.
Thank you @thegreens first of all for this initiative and the opportunity to share this experience of my journey through education, which am still going through now. So my steemians seriously right from when I started to have small sense, right back in Primary school at Holy infant Primary School Melen, Yaounde where I did my class 1 to class 6 and stretching my stay in academics at Baptist Highschool Awae Escalier, Yaounde where I ran through from Form 1 to Uppersixth.
My worst subject first , because in Africa especially in cameroon we announce the bad news first then now end things with the good news , so that the story ends very sweet😂😂
WORST SUBJECT: FRENCH LANGUAGE
Seriously this subject was somethings else especially ranging between form 3- form 5. Three reasons I didn't have a good relationship with the subject were
a) The teacher Mr. Luc at that time was had 2 distinctive problems hindering my apprehension of the subject, moreover I think I wasn't alone in this complain.
He had a tiny voice, oh my God and next he was very boring
Hence the very foundation of the subject was not laid in my heart and we would complained but he didn't care at all.
b) I was firstly the lazy type of students do if I don't get it in class then, don't go trust me to study back at home and secondly the stuff was really hard even when I tried at home, I couldn't grasp the principles of the subject easily so I gave up on the subject
c) To crown it all and give french language the throne of worst subject was the fact that I would neither be first and sometimes not 2nd in class because the subject will drain my average and seriously French was coefficient 5 so when I have performed Valiantly just know I scored something like 05/20 or 06/20
Gosh this subject was my enemy of progress😂😂😂 .
Now getting to the sweeter part of the story
My FAVOURITE SUBJECT:MATHEMATICS
now permit me to show you below is a downloaded pic to show a little view of how our Maths teacher showed concern,

He will make sure every one has a good logical reasoning of every topic as we advanced, he invested in stories and fictions which brought alot of understanding to me
So my teacher Mr. Acho was a fundamental contribution to why I loved maths, his motto was "I don't teach people to fail maths"
Secondly I loved maths and got so interested because if you were good in it you were seen among peers as a great guy even the girls will stick around for explanation 😂😂😂😂 so I enjoyed advantages of service, this increased my interest for Maths and love for it.
I think also I was naturally smart when it came to Maths I even had nicknames like
Calculator, the son of maths, so maths was really I could say the subject in which I excelled most.
In conclusion I think the student to subject relationship depends on some factors
-Natural ability of the learner/student.
-The teachers dispensation of Lessons.
-Social and environmental circumstances.
There are of course others but I think these 3 dominate.
I also hate French 😒

I love maths too cus it makes us think well enough. Hahah this French thing wasn’t good for me too. I didn’t really hate it but the type of tutors for the subject just makes it difficult all the time for me.

Really, the teachers ability to reach out to the students and get their understanding facilitates the lesson a great deal.
