MORNING |
---|
I woke up today at 5a.m to prepare for church. We did morning devotion and then I later prepared for church. So I quickly did all my house chores and left for church at about 8:45am .
On my way to church
Service today was really interesting. They talked about how we could read Gods word the Bible and have a better understanding of it. They mentioned three ways which are;
Prayer, we need to pray to God to give is his holy spirit each time we are about studying his word.
The next is meditation that is, after reading we need to ask ourselves self examining question to see if we grasp hold of what we just read.
Another thing is to apply it in our way of lives. Let what we read be shown in out lives how we treat others. I really enjoyed service today.
AFTERNOON |
---|
I came back home immediately after church. The weather today wasn't a good one . Upon reaching the house rain started. I was exhausted and hungry. So I went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat. I could not wait to eat the wonderful delicacy my mom and I prepared in the morning before leaving for church. It's porridge cocoyam . A highly respected delicacy in mbengwi a village in the Northwest region.
After eating I decided to take a nap for an hour . I don't really like going out today cause the weather wasn't the best and besides I am also preparing for my exams.
I woke up took some air outside the house while discussing with my friend in Douala via video call. we talked for long cause it had really stayed since we last spoke to each other.
she is my childhood friend we grew up and attended primary and secondary together before her family relocated to Douala. I really missed her so we had all the time to catch up today on phone. it was really fun talking to her again after a very long time. After the call , I decided to go study .
That's how I spent my day . Thank you all for reading. Stay blessed.
