In our community, the people of Kwen embraced the occasion with enthusiasm, coming together to celebrate and reflect on the significance of knowing and speaking one's mother tongue .It was truly a privilege to host several esteemed guests at the Community Radio for Rural Development, where they shared their insights on the importance of speaking one's tribal language. They emphasized that, as civilization progresses, many people are increasingly forgetting their roots, losing touch with their tribal languages. This, they explained, has created a disconnect from cultural heritage and identity .During the radio program, several guests shared personal stories of how speaking their mother tongue has helped them overcome challenges and obstacles in life.
