Greetings, Steem family! I hope everyone is doing well in their various corners. Let me share how I spent my Sunday.
I woke up early at 6 a.m. to start the day with my morning devotion, followed by some house chores. This week has been particularly quiet, as we observed a ghost town declared by certain groups in the Anglophone region, which everyone is expected to respect. It was a long and lonely week, filled with its own challenges, as some may say.
During the day, I helped my mom with sales at her store. We had some meaningful conversations about things that could benefit me in the future. It was an interesting time spent with her, talking about life and what steps I should take to secure a better tomorrow.
Afterward, I took a bath and decided to cook for the family. It's been a while since I last prepared a meal for everyone since I'm usually not around. I was tasked with making eru and garri, one of my favorite dishes. I took my time to make it perfect, even though I couldn't recall all the steps. Luckily, my mom was there to guide me so I didn’t mess it up. In the end, everything turned out great, and it was a fun experience!
Later in the evening, I had an interesting conversation with a friend about the future and how we plan to handle things moving forward. We discussed the challenges that young people face in achieving certain goals and the steps we need to take to overcome these obstacles. It was a deep conversation where we both shared our thoughts and learned new things from each other. At the end of our chat, we agreed to meet up and start putting our plans into action—because, as they say, "Action without a plan leads to limited growth."
I then saw him off to his house and returned home to start planning for the next day.
It was a day filled with its own challenges but also with growth and meaningful moments.
