Greetings, Steem family! I trust we are all doing great in our little corners. Permit me to share how I spent my Sunday.
I woke up early in the morning—4 a.m., to be specific—did my morning devotion, and completed some house chores before taking a bath and getting ready for church. While in church, the preacher delivered a powerful and sensitive sermon. He spoke about the challenges of marriage, particularly for young people who wish to get married. He emphasized that there are certain issues that will arise, and if one is not ready to understand and manage them, it might be better to remain single. It was indeed an enlightening service where I learned valuable lessons about marriage.
The service ended with an amazing praise song from the church's praise team, followed by the recognition of visitors and the benediction.
####AT THE CONCERT
Today was destined to be an exciting day, as there was a music concert I had been eagerly waiting for. This particular band had been promoting their event for quite some time, and as a music lover, I couldn't miss it for any reason. After church, I headed home to prepare for the concert. Just as I was ready to leave, it began raining. It was a heartbreaking moment, but after a few minutes, the rain stopped, and I made my way to the venue.
Upon arrival, I was amazed by the number of people who had arrived early, despite the rain. It was an incredible moment, with many believers coming together to fellowship as one family. Different music ministers and bands set the atmosphere ablaze, leading us into deep worship.
After several powerful ministrations, the preacher delivered a sermon on repentance, calling those who hadn't given their lives to Christ to do so. Many people responded to the call, and it was a joyous moment for everyone. The host then led us into another round of music ministrations.
Fast-forwarding to the end, prayer points were given for us to pray for our country, our lives, and other important matters. We closed the event at 5:30 p.m.
It was indeed a Sunday full of impact and transformation.
