Greetings, Steemit family! I hope you are all doing great in your respective endeavors. Allow me to share how I spent my Sunday.
I woke up early at about 7 a.m. and did some morning chores while preparing to go to church. I was looking forward to an interesting day, as there were many activities planned after the church service. At around noon, I rushed to the radio station to read the news programs. Following that, we had a musical break to captivate and engage our audience while preparing them for any upcoming programs. Unfortunately, no new program was introduced by 3:20 p.m., so I had to rush to my musical practice.
The practice is held every Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m., but today's was special because we were preparing for a worship concert scheduled for next Sunday, the 24th. The practice was indeed interesting; we worked hard on perfecting certain songs for the concert. We finished at 5 p.m., and everyone headed home.
However, something unfortunate happened on our way home. My brothers and I had bought a bike, and as we usually pass a checkpoint without any issues, today was different. We were told to step off the bike and were accused of being scammers. We had no defense, and our phones were taken. This experience left me pondering: those who are meant to protect us are the ones causing harm. We were instructed to pay a hundred thousand for our belongings to be returned. Where would we possibly get that amount of money at that moment?
I saw many others being harassed, and I couldn't help but wonder what the future holds for the next generation. We spent three hours at the roadside without any signs of improvement. Eventually, we were told to pay ten thousand. After a long wait, we managed to make some calls, and luckily everything turned out fine. We handed over the money and headed home.
On our way, we discussed the ordeal and reflected on how concerning it is for upcoming generations. I arrived home at 8:40 p.m., made something to eat, and then started working on some projects.
All in all, it was a day filled with life challenges and valuable lessons. Thank you for reading, and I hope you have a great day!

Really sorry about your experience at the checkpoint. Indeed, those security personnel are always something else. They're always looking for means to extort money from citizens even when they know you're not guilty of any offense. And if you try to defend yourself, they'll give you allegations....
Indeed, still contemplating what the future holds for the next generation.
So sorry. Stay safe
