The hard-core scene was huge, graffiti was legendary, the skateboarders were Laying down the framework for the Xtreme sport industry, and dime bags were available (via pot pushing patrons) at most pizzerias, especially the ones that also had video games and encouraged loitering.

was open late-night, served dollar slices and cheap beer, had a single stall bathroom (...usually occupied for long periods of time with a high frequency of drug use) and an over-crowded mix of dirty tables and heavily tagged arcade games.
The pizza was terrible but they were open 'til 3am, and were located on the way home for most of the Lansdowne crowd. Honestly It was a little dirty.
Nobody didn’t think so, but not dirty enough for “all that drinking” to care ...especially after midnight when on weekends the line would wrap all the way down to the corner of Hemenway st. on most nights.

The pizza got more expensive, but noticeably better, and now in fairness, the restaurant is clean and nice. I still go there from time to time, but now with more confidence.

One thing about the official parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper, and classic oregano pizzeria herb sifters. I really enjoy using them because I like to cook, but am admittedly not very good at it, always burning everything.
