This video is a little tour of my "Home" on Altspace. It's the default space that everyone gets when they sign up. It's large enough to hold a bunch of other users so, in theory, one could organise a meeting in one of those spaces.
I've been thinking of how I would improve the space, if I were the one doing that, with NFTs. There are so many NFT opportunities in Altspace, starting with the personal home space. The following types of NFTs would be perfect for such a space:
NFT Music
NFT Art
NFT Furniture
NFT Books
NFT Movies and TV shows with collaboration
NFT based cinema
NFT advertising space - billboards and flyers
NFT property - apartments and houses
Some of these ideas require a lot of resources, so perhaps could be implemented much later when the technology is adequate. However music, books, art and furniture could be achieved very easily with what we have now. I didn't mention it in the video, but custom clothing could also be NFT opportunities on the platform.
About a year ago, before the first HiveFest we had in there, I bumped into one of the developers of Altspace in there. We had an interesting conversation and I remember mentioning NFTs to him back then. I'm quite sure something is in the works. There has to be, especially with all this metaverse frenzy going on.
