I love writing my Morning Pages every morning and often write with a fountain pen. I decided to share that experience this morning as a way of leading by example, to show you what writing looks like and why I derive so much pleasure from it.
Yes - pleasure!
It's not just that it helps me by clearing my mind, sorting out thoughts - you know, all that good stuff that comes from a daily writing practice. But there's real joy in using pens and ink and paper, taking time out to do something away from a computer screen or a phone and just be in the moment.
The pen I'm using today is a Pelikan M600 in Tortoiseshell Red with a broad nib and Pilot Iroshizuku fuyu-gaki ink on a TWSBI Large notebook.
