This is the first of four films assembled from found footage which tells the story of Julian Assange and WikiLeaks, what motivates their work, and what they have managed to bring to the public arena so far.
The first of the films, after its rather chaotic 5 minute opening sequence, relates how WikiLeaks was founded, and what its mission is, before moving on to a detailed look at the attempts to silence them.
It therefore focuses on the attempts to discredit Julian with the charges brought against him in Sweden, his house arrest and threats of extradition, and his seeking asylum in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.
The film is very well edited and even without an all-knowing narrator manages to get the main aspects of the story over. The current extradition proceedings are ongoing, and I urge you to support his legal team.
