Journey From Marazion To St. Michael's
Mount By Ferry - Cornwall, UK
This is a video of the short...and on that day - stormy trip, to the island of St. Michael's Mount, located just off the coast of Marazion, in the county of Cornwall, in the south west of England.
It is managed by the National Trust, the castle and chapel on the island have been the home of the St Aubyn family since approximately 1650. Before this, it may have been the site of a monastery from around the 8th - 11th century.
You can make your way across to the island either by ferry, or if the tide is out, by walking across the man-made causeway. There is a counterpart location/island located in Normandy, France: Mont-Saint-Michel.
