Lets learn more about a little Jawa who we meet far away from home. We come across Blizz on Hoth - extremely cold, snowy planet and thats definitely curious, but i think theres more to it than a matter of simple contrast. U know how there r fish that live in specific places, cuz water of given temperature dissolves specific amount of oxygen and how it can die just from a few degrees of temperature change? U know how exotherms need warm environment to support their metabolism? U know how large animals can sustain their temperature solely by the virtue of their size, but they can have problems overheating, if they r in hot climate? How do we know a Jawa from hot, sandy deserts of Tatooine can even survive such colds, despite of clothing, or glove warmer packets?
I like Blizz. Blizz is universally liked by players. Hes definitely a character trope and archetype of likability - thats pretty much to say hes painted by numbers - he likes us, hes optimistic, joyful, funny-sounding, energetic and resourceful, so its useful and nice to have that Jawa around. I think his size plays into it as well - Blizz is like a wide-eyed child, who cant speak good and is curious about the world. And his name is "Blizz", like "blizzard" - u know - cuz we meet him on the winter planet.
