How 2 Spoof/Fake Your GPS Location on Android

Instructions:

Begin by enabling developer mode on your phone. It varies from device to device, but it’s usually extremely easy, just Google it. Next, in the developer settings, enable a custom #GPS location (again, if you don’t see it right away then Google it as it varies from device to device.

Now, just download an app that will interface with the newly enable custom GPS location API – I use an app called Fake GPS, and set your location (which you can double check using Google Maps to see if it’s working).

This works great for:

Fun – Show your Snapchat friends you are in Antarctica

#Privacy – If an app requires your location and you do not want to give it out you can spoof your location.

Utility – Planning on traveling to a city and want to use an app as if you were there before you arrive? This will come in handy.

This will not help you with:

Avoiding Criminal Responsibility – You phone will give away your location to your cell provider via cell towers, so don’t think that you can use this to get away with crimes.

Hope you found this interesting.
