Thanks David. No real fiat drop in Canada but there is a small windfall, variable mortgage rate dropped to about 1.7-1.8% after the March crash. The real mortgage rate when you call up the broker is somewhat lower than the advertised rate. I have found 2.4% for 5yr fixed and 2.3% for 5yr variable.
