Well doesn’t time fly when your having fun...it’s day 3 and today I get my ICON/ ICX at half price. I woke up to an e mail letting me know I could click the link and review and accept my allocation on the website, no actual information about the allocation or amount was detailed.

Upon clicking the link I had to log in on the website/ exchange and after a few seconds of wandering around I couldn’t find the screen to review my allocation. It was only when I reclicked the link in the e mail that I was sent to the right page 👍🏼

Here I found out I only got 53 ICX 🥳 as something like 122 MILLION CRO had been contributed to the event. I knew it was going to be popular but not THAT popular haha. Oh well, I now know I should have at least 50,000 cro staked to get a good amount of coins allocated to me.

That’s why I documented this whole event to see EXACTLY what happened and to learn from it for the coming future events. I’m still glad I did it, the whole event was very well done and professional as well as intuitive to follow, I found each step obvious and at no point was I confused or unsure.

I wish I had got more ICON but now I am armed with the right information about how to do this better next time as well as what you can expect if you want to do one do these events. I shall finish by saying I got my ICX IMMEDIATELY and I also withdrew IMMEDIATELY and my new shiny ICX coins have been already staked on my Icon app, so that was smooth sailing as well.

I’m definitely going to do more in the future, as I enjoyed the whole event.
