"IF YOUR BOSS IS ANGRY AT YOU, DON'T QUIT! A quiet spirit can overcome even great mistakes."
Ecclesiastes 10:4 (NLT)

"IF THE SPIRIT OF THE RULER RISES AGAINST YOU, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR POST; For conciliation pacifies great offenses."
Ecclesiastes 10:4 (NKJV)

• If you are the type of person who is full of the self; you think of yourself more highly than you ought to (Romans 12:3), and believe only in what you do, thinking you are better than others, you definitely have pride in you:
3 DON'T BE SELFISH; DON'T TRY TO IMPRESS OTHERS. BE HUMBLE, THINKING OF OTHERS AS BETTER THAN YOURSELVES. 4 DON'T LOOK OUT ONLY FOR YOUR OWN INTERESTS, BUT TAKE AN INTEREST IN OTHERS, TOO" (Philippians 2:3,4 NLT).

  • Pride can manifest in various or diverse ways in a believer's life. Someone who has spiritual prowess, cleverness and ingenuity, could be proud of it.
  • That is, having the knowledge of the things of the Kingdom can make someone proud: " . . . WE know that we all have knowledge. KNOWLEDGE PUFFS UP, BUT LOVE EDIFIES" (1 Corinthians 8:1 NKJV).
  • The truth is, whatever you value so much in your life, that makes you feel better than others, had become an instrument of pride.
  • If the initial evidence or manifestation of pride in your life is not dealt with, It would lead to your downfall or ruination or destruction (Proverbs 16:18).
  • Someone who wants recognition, who always wants to be acknowledged, has an element of pride in him or her. If you always want recognition for all you do, you have an element of pride in you!
  • Someone who easily loses his or her temper, becomes angry over a little or insignificant thing or matter, has a problem with pride.
  • Such a person always think about the self, his or her importance, or significance, or why they should be treated in a particular way, and If they were not treated or addressed in the way they had thought, they become or get offended and be annoyed. That is pride in action!

• Submit to godly authorities over your life.

  • Wives, your husbands are God's representative, delegated authorities over your lives, submit to them (Ephesians 5:22; 1 Peter 3:1).
  • God is orderly—He is a God of order. And He wants His children to respect the orders or rules He has set in place, or established (Romans 13:1; 1 Peter 2:13).
  • Whoever is against God's order would not receive the best of Him. Where there is disorderliness in God's divine arrangement of things, anarchy sets in, and a curse follows (Romans 13:2; Ephesians 6:1-3).
  • If a Curse is found in your life as a believer, check out or find out; you might have gone against God's divine order.
  • Submit to the authorities established by God (1 Peter 2:13; 3:1). Wives to husbands, children to parents, church members to the ministers or their pastors, and workers or employees to their bosses or masters.
  • God did set up delegates to represent His interests in your life as a believer:
12 WE ASK YOU, BROTHERS, TO RESPECT THOSE WHO LABOUR AMONG YOU AND ARE OVER YOU IN THE LORD AND ADMONISH YOU, 13 AND TO ESTEEM THEM VERY HIGHLY IN LOVE BECAUSE OF THEIR WORK. Be at peace among yourselves. 14 And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all" (1 Thessalonians 5:12–14 (ESV).
    READ Hebrews 13:17
  • If you dishonoured God's delegated authorities over your life, It may attract God's anger, or curse, and it might not be well. Do not do it!

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

  • Whatever is contrary to your health is cursed and uprooted in your body, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
  • You are completely delivered from every oppression and affliction of the devil in Jesus' name.
    Peace!

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

  • If you took the steps As highlighted above, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!

"Wow, what a powerful and thought-provoking post! 🙌 I loved how you broke down the importance of humility and submitting to authority in our lives as believers. The scriptures you shared were so timely and relevant! 👏 It's amazing how pride can manifest in different ways, but ultimately leads to downfall if not addressed.

I couldn't agree more with your message about not quitting when faced with adversity or anger from a boss or leader. A quiet spirit and humility can truly overcome even great mistakes! 🙏

Your steps to salvation at the end were also incredibly clear and concise. It's so important for us to share this good news with others and invite them to take the step of faith in Jesus Christ. 💖

Thanks for sharing your wisdom and heart with us today! I'd love to hear from you - what are some practical ways we can cultivate humility and respect for authority in our daily lives? Let's keep the conversation going and support each other on this journey! 🤗

I want to appreciate you for your comment. The little addition to it and other practical ways to cultivate humility are shared here:

• The abiding presence of God is with those whom He reveals Himself to.

  • God is many sided, variegated in wisdom and knowledge (Ephesians 3:10), Thus, one can only understand or see that aspect of Him which He chooses to reveal to him or her (Psalm 103:7).
  • The level of a believer's understanding of God shows his or her depth in Him. The more humble you are; in acknowledging God, and ascribing of the glory of whatever result you had or the impact you made, in your assignment or the work of ministry, the deeper you are in the understanding of Him (Psalm 25:14).
  • The key to that is humility, and humility in God's sight is acknowledgements and praises, or worship, or ascribing the glory of your achievement to Him (Psalm 25:9; 37:11).
  • Note: Acknowledgement simply means an expression of thanks or appreciation.

• Humility also means submissiveness, wanting to do God's Will, His bidding, without questioning Him—without rebelling.

  • Someone who is wise in his or her own eyes would find it difficult to know much of God: "DO NOT BE WISE IN YOUR OWN EYES; FEAR THE LORD AND DEPART FROM EVIL" (Proverbs 3:7 NKJV).
    READ: Proverbs 9:9; 14:14
  • Being wise in your own eyes is an element of pride in the sight of God; and someone, or a believer, with such a mindset could only know little or nothing about Him:
19 FOR it is written: “I WILL DESTROY THE WISDOM OF THE WISE, And BRING TO NOTHING the UNDERSTANDING of the PRUDENT.” 20 WHERE is the WISE? WHERE is the SCRIBE? WHERE is the DISPUTER OF THIS AGE? HAS NOT GOD MADE FOOLISH THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD?" (1 Corinthians 1:19,20 NKJV).
    READ: Proverbs 3:7

• Humble yourself, and be willing to accept and embrace His counsel on every matter.

  • When you humble yourself before God, and Acknowledge Him, He will take you to a greater height you could ever imagine in your walk with Him:
5 TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, And LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING; 6 IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM,
And HE SHALL DIRECT YOUR PATHS [make your path smooth or straight]" (Proverbs 3:5,6 NKJV).

• In conclusion

  • A believer should humble himself or herself and Acknowledge God as the revealer of the truth. Let the glory of whatever you know, and the impact, or result of it in the life of the people, be ascribed to God (James 4:10).
  • The Bible, the Word of God, is coded, without the revelation of the Holy Spirit, you might not understand it. Thus, the humility being referred to here is about acknowledging God, and ascribing the glory, and the honour of whatever you know and the impact of it in the lives of others; to God the Father.
  • Enlightenment or the opening of the eyes of a believer's understanding is done by the Holy Spirit, and that is through praying (Ephesians 1:17,18).
  • When you read and study the Word of God, with the help of the Holy Spirit, your understanding would be open to see, know, and receive the truth that God wants you to know (John 8:32).
