Comment: Whoever is saying the truth would be hated by the world. As Jesus was hated by the religious leaders and people during His earthly Ministry, the true or genuine disciples of Christ Jesus, would also be hated today. Whoever wants to live a consecrated life, a godly life in Christ Jesus would be persecuted—suffer persecution (2 Timothy 3:12). The world hates Jesus because He testifies that its works are evil. Whoever is testifying of the works of the world, telling them of the evil they are doing, and telling them about God's displeasure on their works or deeds, they would hate him or her. Evil is rampant now, It has gotten to the point that whoever is saying the truth or doing the right thing is being blackmailed or seen as a weird person—a strange or extraordinary character, or an odd person. The truth is, being perverse, or evil, is justified today. Albeit, whoever is on the Lord side should stand as a light wherever they find themselves. Peace.
