Michael B. Jordan Addresses Rumors
About Being The New Superman
It is not the first time that Jordan addresses the possibility of being the iconic DC character, although on previous occasions he did it from mere speculation. In a new interview, the actor assured that representation was something important in today's industry, but that there are various ways of doing it.
Jordan believes that there are too many opportunities with different properties and franchises, characters that he believes have not had a chance to see the light of day. "And there are some who just should be where they are, so let's just see how things turn out," concludes the actor.
What Michael B. Jordan suggests is that, to have more diverse films, companies like DC and Marvel Comics should do is create a greater variety of diverse characters rather than alter previously established icons. And perhaps it is for the best if these productions do not want to avoid the rejection of some fans.
