Assuming you need to wish someone "Glad Eid" this year, the conventional way is welcome them with "Eid Mubarak". This is the Arabic expression utilized by Muslims during both Eid al-Adha and the Eid al-Fitr festivities prior in the year

What would it be advisable for me to eat before Eid al-Adha petition? The Prophet is said not to have eaten anything until he returned from supplication and afterward eat from his penance. In any case, assuming an individual isn't intending to offer a penance, there is nothing off about eating before the supplication.
