BOI- Monthly Curation Reward Update & Distribution of Delegator's Reward for Dec' 2020

Since the announcement of the Best of India community, we invited delegations from the newcomers as well as from those who seek DeFi opportunities through delegations.

In the month of Nov 2020, the total number of delegators stands at 25, with a total effective SP- 46226. So we are growing each day, each week, each month. And our continuous effort is slowly unlocking our potential as a better curation management team alongside building an active & vibrant community.

Best of India gives 100% curation reward (both STEEM & TRX) to its delegators. The APR is also quite competitive.

So before going into the details of the delegators' reward, we would like to express our gratitude to all the delegators on behalf of the BOI community for helping us to build this community. We would also like to convey our best regards for a happy & prosperous New Year 2021.

In the month of Dec '2020, we keep on receiving delegations, consolidated to @bestofindia account. So here is the list of the Delegators, SP, date of Delegation.

Please note that for those who keep on adding delegation more than once, the figures as given in this table are to be read as cumulative delegated SP.

As different delegators have delegated on different dates, we have calculated the Effective Monthly Weightage of SP for each delegator.

From the above table consider the case of @neerajkr03,

The delegation by @neerajkr03 at the start of the month (1st Dec) was 5612 SP, he delegated an additional 1015 SP on 13th Dec(Cumulative 6627 SP), 200 SP(Cumulative 6827 SP) on 22nd Dec.

So 5612 SP remains in curation effect for 31 days, 1015 SP remains in curation effect for 19 days, 200 SP remains in curation effect for 10 days in @bestofindia account in the month of Dec 2020.

=> Effective Monthly Weightage of SP-Delegated by @neerajkr03 to BOI in Dec' 2020= [(5612 * 31)+(1015 * 19)+(200 * 10)]/31
= 6298.61 SP

Please note that the @bestofindia account has its own SP as well, as it is receiving a 10% benefactor reward, contributed by the three CRs from India. It also generates the author's reward from time to time through various contest announcements, updates, etc. For that, we have taken the median value of the SP for the @bestofindia account as the Effective Monthly Weightage of SP in this calculation.

At the start of the month (1st Dec), the SP of @bestofindia was 3926 SP and at the end of the month (31st Dec), it was 6447 SP.

So the Effective Monthly Weightage of SP for @bestofindia in Nov 2020= 3926+((6447-3926)/2)= 5186.5 SP

The total curation reward generated in the month of Nov 2020 is 990.981 SP.

So after calculating the Effective Monthly weightage of SP for each delegator, we calculated the percentage share of each of them out of the total curation reward generated, and finally, we obtained the curation reward earned by the individual Delegators through the BOI community.

Based on Dec 2020 curation reward, the projected APR stands at 25.72%. That's impressive. In the previous month, it was 24.12%. We always try our best to maintain good curation efficiency, but our objective is primarily focused on helping the newcomers, curating them, guiding them, ultimately building the community. Keeping that objective intact, we also strategize the use of SP to make the curation efficient & competitive.

Please note that if we take TRX rewards into account, the projected APR will further rise by 4.4% approx.

We have already distributed the delegator rewards(both STEEM & TRX) to the respective delegators as per the indicated status in the sheet. Please note that the Tron accounts of @ansaf & @techyworld are not activated yet, we would request both of them to activate their Tron account and then confirm the same in the comment section, so that we can transfer the TRX rewards to their Tron wallets(integrated with Steem).
