The best tendering of honesty, politeness, respect is inherently existent in the Japanese community. Further, they believe in collective thinking, their education system is engineered in a way to foster collective thinking. That collective thinking fascinates me the most.

I don't have a tendency to postpone the alarm call, as I have learned how to win the battle of the bed. Sometimes I don't even need an alarm. I wake up at 4:35 AM, the day dawned cool, calm, convivial, with the crescendo of birds.

I always feel like I have an appointment with nature in the early morning.

I had two glasses of lukewarm water empty stomach and then head to the bathroom for morning personal hygiene routine.

Then it was time for yoga and meditation for the next 40 mins. The most important facet of life is breath and the art of controlling your breath is called "yoga". I usually do "anulom bilom, kapal bhati, bhastrika pranayam, etc". Yoga & meditation really helps in emotional sustenance.

Yoga session always precedes my study session and I have set this schedule as a way of centering my focus on "study" which is the important business of the morning session.

The locality where I live has a plethora of sparrows and that is the most interesting thing for me being a nature lover. At 6:00 AM they along with other varieties do visit my terrace and I always feed them with biscuits, millet, and other grains.

Feeding Birds: Brahminy starling Bird & Sparrow

Today I spotted a "brahminy starling" bird which is the most common starling bird in India. They are really beautiful. I tried to capture a close up one, but as I got closer, she took off.

From 6:15 AM, I started studying as per the set plan & schedule. I generally find myself in good shape in the morning hours. I continued studying for the next 4 hours until 10:30 AM. Then I had some miscellaneous chores to do, which kept me engaged for another 45 mins or so. Once I finished, I hurried off to the bathroom to take a shower.

Then I performed daily pooja(worship) at home, expressing my sincere gratitude.

It was already 11:45 AM. I went to the kitchen and started preparing food for lunch. Today I had "plain dosa" & "chutney". It's a south Indian dish and my all-time favorite.

Lunch: "Plain Dosa" with "Chutney"

I had my lunch at 1:30 PM, then took a short nap for the next 30 mins. At 2:00 PM I resumed my study. I continued studying until 4:00 PM.

A random shot: "Kalu" and her sister

The evening session is now all set for engaging in Steem blockchain seriously. I will spend at least 7 hours every day starting from today. I am trying to scale better in my engagement too.

I visited a number of diary posts and commented wherever I found sufficient and interesting content to engage with. I am also going through the curation guide to have a better insight into the New Comer Community as I am Steem PoD Greeter now. From tomorrow, I will start curating in the New Comers Community.

It's really an interesting journey, once a side hustle, now a full-time job. I have certain plans and ideas which I am consolidating, I am really working in the background to work on the Retention part of 3R's and I firmly believe that without consistent engagement & valuable engagement by the players it won't be possible.

Now in my Steem engagement, there will be three distinct tasks-- Curating in New Comers Community for Tasks 5 & 6, Engaging with diary posts, and also will work on my own diary and other things that I am currently working on for project Affable.

At 8:00 PM, I played two chess matches(10 mins game). I won one and lost one.

Chess: I played with white

At 9:00 PM, I returned to the kitchen to prepare food again for dinner. It was "aloo paratha" today at dinner.

Dinner: "Aloo Paratha"

At 9:45 PM, I had my dinner. I stayed up for another hour before retiring to bed. I tried to write my diary at this time and also did some other misc things like checking emails, twitter, etc.

That's how my day unfolded from dawn to dusk.

Thank you.
