Dear Friends,
I usually didn't get much time to travel. But for a short trip, Mandarmani is my favorite place.
Mandarmani is situated; in the East Midnapore district(West Bengal), the northern end of the Bay of Bengal, and before Digha.
During My first visit, I was there with one office colleague.
That experience bound me to revisit Mandarmani once again. First, my brother-in-law was not ready to visit Mandarmani; he wanted to go to Digha.
Mandarmani is a bit expensive rather than Digha. But then he agreed, and we went to Mandarmani. Anyway, through MMT, we booked our resort.
Then we went through the bus to Mandarmani.
After reaching the resort, my brother-in-law agreed that Mandarmani is much more beautiful than Digha.
Our resort name was Aqua Marina Drive Inn. The location of the resort was remarkable.
The specialty of Mandarmani is resorts made on the side of Sea beach. Every night during high tide, water almost reached the gate of the retreats. And Seawater hits the bolder keeps outside of the gate.
The food of the resort was also extremely good in quality and taste.
One day we thought that we buy chicken from the outside and there are shops too who cook for us.
But we were not aware that the hotel doesn't allow outside cooked food. When we were entering, they asked us what we were carrying with us!
We honestly answered that we are carrying cooked chicken, then the guard replied that outside foods are not allowed in the resort.
My brother-in-law started screaming at him that you people are taking huge taxes and all. Why can't we buy any other food? etc.
Inside the resort, many workers came outside. My sister, my niece, and I were also waiting for him inside the room. We also reached out of our room as the room was near the reception.
Then I requested that we were not aware of the rules, so for this time leave us we will not carry any outside food further.
He could hide the food, and after asking the guards, he could also lie, but he was honest and told him the truth.
That time it was an embarrassing moment, but now while writing, the incident was entertaining.
My niece was also very happy because in the resort there was a small park for children.
We all went to visit the sea beach several times and played in the sea. That was also very funny because at that time, the high tide was there and we fell in the water though we didn't get hurt then we came out from the water as the resorts don't allow us to stay in the water.
We bought small gifts for family members, and that's how we spent our memorable journey at Mandarmani.
I am also planning to revisit Mandarmani; maybe this time I will go alone because I need a break from this monotonous life routine.
Stay blessed and happy. Enjoy your life.
