Pakistan's Shahida (Harshali Malhotra) was named after famous cricketer Saeed Afridi. But Shahida is dumb. Her mother came to India with her to heal her and Shahida got lost in the train on the way back. Devoted Hindu Brahmin Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi (Salman Khan) gave him shelter.

His new name is Munni. Although Pawan tried hard not to be able to talk to Munni or Shahida, he could not find his parents. In the course of events, Pawan may know that Munni is a Muslim and a Pakistani. Helpless Munni could not say any of his address. Pawan traveled to Pakistan with Munni for the sake of deep love for the child and humanity. Of course without a visa-passport.

But the Pakistani police were quick to arrest Pawan. They think he is an Indian spy. Hamid Khan (Rajesh Sharma), one of the officers of the Pakistani police, but realizes that Pawan was just an ordinary Indian who brought Munni back to his parents. He freed Pawan without tampering with the unjust orders of the Pak intelligence service and helped him to return to the country through the Narwar border.

Meanwhile, video clippings of Pawan's fame by journalist Chand Nawab have spread across Pakistan. Thousands of people came to the border to say goodbye to him. Pawan and Munni alias Shahida hug each other in No Man's Land.
