Delhi breathes its worst air from 1 to 15 November

People in the national capital breathe the "worst" air between November 1 and November 15 each year, analyzing data compiled by the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) over the past five years. The city rate of PM2.5 varies between "very poor" and "poor" categories from October 16 to February 15.

The PM2.5 rating from 61 to 120 is considered "moderate to poor", 121 to 250 are "very poor", 251 to 350 are "heavy" and over 350 say "difficult integration".
"The largest increase in pollution levels was observed from October 15 to November 1. The average PM2.5 level reaches 285 micrograms per cubic meter from 80 micrograms per cubic meter," the Department said. Environmental.

December 16 to December 31 is the second most polluted time in Delhi. The concentration of PM2.5 at this time stands at 218 micrograms per single meter.
