I was at the grocery store when a couple of younger men asked if they could detail my car. Unfortunately during this limited quarantine period, most of us are having to do more with less. Then I came across this quote from a figure from the past (1908) which expresses my feelings perfectly: "Nothing is more humiliating than to have to beg for work, and a system in which any man has to beg for work stands condemned. No man can defend it."
This came from a gentleman named Eugene Victor Debs from his “The Issue” speech in Girard Kansas, May 28, 1908. This man ran for President 5 times on a “Socialist” platform that was basically against “Capitalism”. His entire life was spent trying to balance the scales for the Workers in our Society. He believed that when you produce something you should be able to own it. However, it has been proven many times that this is not how our society works. “The man who produces the most has the least” is what has been proven time and time again.
In Wars, throughout history, it has been shown that the Wealthiest Capitalist are the ones who declare war upon others just so that they might have “More”. History has shown that the Workers of a society have never declared war on anyone. It is only the wealthy that have wars and demand that the Workers fight and die in them.
It is Past Time that the WORKERS of our Country take back the reins of our Government, throw off the yoke of Capitalism and become a free Society once again. The way our Country was born was when a bunch of men and women got together and declared “I have had enough” and declared their independence from a GREEDY ruler. Right now we are under the thumb of GREEDY RULERS that only want to take from us, whatever they can, and give us back NOTHING.
Wherever you live, get together with like minded individuals and together we can make a difference. It is past time that WE are allowed to keep what we PRODUCE or we are allowed to barter it for what we need, either through a LIVING wage, or from EMPLOYEE COOPERATIVES. It is past time that we all are treated like HUMAN BEINGS, not just some form of chattel to be used and abused.
Begin this by voting out the incumbents in our Federal Government and voting in like minded people that want to see this Country return to its days of Leadership.
