Our adversaries are changing their foreign policy culture. Whereas the United States tackles both foreign and domestic culture. Changing domestic culture is the fuel needed to power foreign policy.
The practice of culture has become dirty. In the United States a lot of people pretend many problems can’t be solved. They act as if they don’t participate and encourage the rot. If those that realize the truth can’t stop those that are desecrating the nation, a lost generation is formed. The United States can’t have that. Behaviors have to change. A change that we can believe in.
Freedom is more of a privilege than a right. The people have forgotten that. How they exercise their freedoms against each other is a travesty. The screws have to be tightened.
For example; It is easy to find arguments against mass immigration. But why would we pretend that foreign policy doesn’t cause some of these issues? Accountability is a cultural trait that can’t go out of style. So is fixing the problems. In my opinion, the bigger issue is feigning ignorance. Regardless of the immigration issue there is a serious problem in the psyche of Americans.
I argue that America’s dominance over the decades has created a citizenry that is really short on adhering to the constitution. The system has to decide how people can exercise their freedoms and basic rights, without it being infringed upon and threatened by others.
People are acting upon them, but the reasons for them are forgotten. Free speech was the act, the reason was to make sure discourse led to a fair solution. But people act as if they are so privileged that polarization is healthy. If this continues we don't have any right to a good system, as it'll be destroyed by a culture.
For foreign policy the current culture is wholly unnecessary. It has to be simplified, which is to promote good bi-lateral relations. When dealing with countries that have their own foreign and domestic culture we shouldn't exert ourselves attempting to balance adversaries and allies.
We have to free ourselves. Part of that is not being afraid to offend, and accepting some behaviors won’t attract as many. If another nation does don’t have a sense of urgency, if they have a problem with rhetoric, and if there culture is to believe the rules of engagements are fixed, than they are not good venture partners.
It is our culture to see past a facade for truth, and it should be our culture to engage with those that do too. There should be zero tolerance for selling the nation out for appearances. Diplomacy has to change, weak people are becoming more dangerous. These professionals lead you to war while shaking hands, and smiling at those that plot to kill you.
It is clear when they mean business, and it is clear when they don’t. It is also clear when their culture is leading them destitute. Leaving their people be is the better option. Countries like South Korea relish in socialized unhappiness. Showing optimism is like a death sentence.
Understanding why the future is going to be different is good preparations.
