I’m back on China’s trail. Over the past week the Israel/Iran rhetoric presented a catalytic situation. That took attention away from what is going on with Japan, and its importance until this morning.
We have to remember China’s main goal is to be the reserve currency. The deals Xi is making with Putin are for that purpose. Whereas Putin is pursuing a legacy as who restored Russia from the collapse of the USSR.
Communism is back with capitalistic characteristics.
Xi & Putin are enjoying a mutually beneficial relationship. They are betting on the ideological decline of the ‘collective west’. They are betting on extending their influence into ‘the global south’.
Russia’s front has been obvious. The muscle. But, I have also suspected they’ve also been the brains. Or at least the kick starter as I wait for China to make a notable offensive move. Russia has given China a lot of time for defensive posturing.
The reaction to Japan's woes by allies will come in the form of strong support. The Yen has to weaken. The effects of this carry trade scenario could spill over to the energy market amplifying the entanglements with western capital. OPEC + has been captured by the Russians long ago. Energy has to be affordable for Japan to stop the contagion.
Choices will not be easy for China. I believe the lack of enthusiasm for Chinese financial instruments during this time will darken their hearts some. Russia may offer a solution.
This is why Russia has been so brilliant. A situation is being created, that a Chinese action will cause an avalanche if they take it. The question I have is have the Chinese been complacent this whole time?
If they haven't and don’t strike haphazardly Russia will call them a motherfucker. If they have and strike haphazardly America will call them a motherfucker.
Anyways, we might be in some sort of intermission. The Deep State is out of control.
Dreams are best when they pursue a harmonious state of existence. Too many dream about achieving un-curtailed restraints. We need people in power that will check their ambitions. Destruction as a cheat code is a selfish act, not a shortcut. Sometimes time only permits you lay the foundation.
The War for Hegemony will once again become ideological.
