So starting today's physics post which is quite informative and useful as well like all the others. The topic for today is CAPACITOR. We often use this electronic devices in our home appliances such as fans, motors and many others. This device named as capacitor used to store the electrical charge in it in order to give it to the appliance in which it is using.

CAPACITOR πŸ”‹

First of all we need to know that what is a capacitor and what does it do in our home appliances and what is it's use in such kind of electrical appliances.

"The electronic device that is used to store the charge inside it is called the capacitor"

The capacitor is consist of two plates that are made of metal, and from a very short distance these both plates are separated from each other inside the capacitor. Between these two plates there is air or any other insulator. We have studied before that what is an insulator.

An insulator is anything from which the electricity cannot pass through...

Now all is need to do is to connect that capacitor with a battery or any other electricity source. This electricity source will provide the current to one plate of the capacitor. This one plate will further transfer this energy/current/charge to the other plate of capacitor. This charge continue to interchange between these two plates and hence is stored inside them. So our electronic device in which we're using this capacitor finally started working.

I hope you guys have a clear idea about the capacitor and it's working.
