Tenses are the form of a verb that indicates when an event has occurred or is about to occur. Here Tenses are used to indicate when the event actually happened / happening. There are basically three main periods in the English language. It consists of 3 periods, Past, Present and Future. Each of these periods can be described as an event of the Past, an event of the Present, or an event of the Future. Tenses allow you to know when an event occurred in the Present, Past, and Future tenses.
