Hi great steemians, welcome to my blog, I will like to share an experience of the subject I hated back then in high school. Thanks to @steemskilllshare and @ihorgic for the contest.
Subject is an area of knowledge studied in a school, college. We have different subjects that we taught and learnt at different schools by different students.
The subject I hated back in highschool then was Financial Accounting, I almost gat to understand mathematics much more than Financial Accounting. I actually hated it because the topics were complicated, that is, the topics that were made of different things that were connected were difficult to understand. That is because a particular account could be used in different topics that is very confusing because the same account could contain different properties. For example, the trading profit and loss account is required for preparing a manufacturing account and also required in preparing a relaxation account. Now these different accounts are different and the trading, profit and loss account will have different contents.
Secondly, some teachers that have taught me financial accounting did not explain the topics in detail and when I ask some questions the teacher would tell me that I am not listening, meanwhile I tried to pay so much attention when the teacher is in the class so as to understand. As this stopped me from been an accountant because I tried my best to comprehend but after exams I will still fail.
Thirdly, my financial accounting teacher was not coming for his classes regularly. It was either he was sick or not available in the school. Even when he was around, he would be teaching as if he was forced to teach. He was always insulting us, calling us sort of names that could demoralized us..
Furthermore, my teacher was always too fast while teaching. I found it very difficult to comprehend whatever he said. He never gave room for questions and answers.
Also, fear of the unknown made me to hate financial accounting. I was always afraid of failing but still I kept failing.
Finally, because I hated financial accounting I was not enthusiastic to learn. The interest was gone. I was showing lackadaisical attitude.
Losing interest in one subject could affect student's performance in other subjects/courses. I wish to invite: @de-king, @niglys and @stanleynnah to participate in this contest.

Thanks for the invite sir!
Some bad attitude that some of our teachers had back then made us hate the subjects they taught.
Maybe if their attitude was good enough we would have fallen in love with the subjects they taught.
Thank you for sharing with us @debaron

I want to thank you for inviting me. Some teachers and their attitude towards teaching and learning was one of the other many reasons why many learners hated some subjects/courses but thank that there is improvement nowadays

Lol I thought I was the only one who hated some subjects back in school because of the teachers approach.
Anyways, good luck
