Merry Go Round Three - Just ignore this.

I wrote and posted this (unfinished) as a response to a message. I felt I needed to clear up some misconceptions. I have reviewed the data that was available to me and I so no evidence of a grand conspiracy. The balance of my comment is below the next section.

A number of months ago, I studied why altruism fails. If we fail, it is not because of this pimple of an event. I am afraid that @milakz might share in some of my traits. I willingly have worked on projects from 7:00 until 2:00 only to awaken again after four hours of sleep to continue on. It is one thing to work together to make something succeed. It is another thing when you have to waste your time on people who want you to fail.

Issues from the message

  • Why is today the first time since the Discord channel started, the day that she asks for people to nominate booming posts?

It's not.

  • I look at the original users who created and moderated Steem Skillshare. I hold many of them in high regard and at the time, Mila included. But something's changed along the way.

Attrition! I've gone months without being on Discord, and one of the people I used to talk to a great deal hasn't been on Steem for two months. We both were mods at one time.

  • But somewhere along the road, it got corrupted.

I assume that by corrupted you mean misuse of Booming. I haven't seen evidence of corruption. I have seen evidence of growing success. Here are today's payouts for articles from last week. There are only five posts and the ones I checked are compliant but also achieving success.
