Announcement: English class commencement date, schedule, rules

Hello, everyone. I am very delighted to announce the commencement of an English course on Steemit as well as Steem skillshare for the very first time. I am hopeful that this course will help a lot of steemian to improve their English language skills.

The registration process for students and teachers has already been completed successfully. All the registered teachers were labelled as "English teacher" and all the students as"English Student". Now it's time to announce the commencement date of this course.

Schedule:

3 classes per week.
Every teacher will take 1 class per week
Upon discussion it was fixed that @massachussets will take class on Sunday, @abu78 will be take class on Tuesday and I will take class on Friday.*

Class rules:

There are some rules for enrolling on the course that the students have to follow all the time.

• They have to be serious learners and determined to stick to the course.
• They have to attend classes on a regular basis and complete the homework that teachers will give them in class.
• Students must submit assignments before deadline.
• No plagiarism is allowed.
• Students who will miss three assignments they will be taken out of the class.
• Everyone has to be punctual while attending classes.
• The class will be conducted in English. So everyone has to have at least an upper beginner level and be able to speak in English.
• Learners have to be respectful to each other.
• Being abusive toward anyone either teacher or fellow students will result in being permanently banned from the community and discord.

My role: "Teachers in charge"

I have initiated this course in order to help a significant number of people to better their English proficiency. Hence, I will be in charge of teachers.

In particular, my role is to evaluate teacher and student progress, the quality of the class, performance of students & teachers as well as to take other necessary steps to make this project run in the right direction.

Therefore, I will be making a progress report of this course every week.

Activities need to be carried out by teachers:

• Teachers can conduct their class either as a form of written transcript or voice call based on the suitability and preferences. For example, if the lesson is about pronunciation there is no chance to take class in written form. On the other hand, Grammar classes can be conducted via written transcript or voice/video call.

• Teachers will create a post on steem skillshare after taking every class mentioning the lesson taught, grading of the student, homework for students and other relevant information as required.

This course is solely for helping people with their English. We are not curators and therefore, we cannot guarantee curation support by the steemcurators or booming to your posts.
