This is a comment contest; all you have to do is leave a comment answering this question under the post.

A circumstance in which more than one person are attempting to get something which not every person can have is better known as COMPETITION.
There's a great need for me participating in contests as an understudy because there's incredible setting to learn in, and as such, i strive hard to do even more than is required.

Being an ambitious person with optimistic mind, i partook and still partaking in contests with the hope of always winning.

As soon as I read "competition" life came to my mind. You may wonder why?

Simple, the greatest competition we have is to survive every day, to wake up triumphant and victorious, to overcome illnesses and bad situations, to get up after every fall.

Reaching old age is the greatest trophy since not everyone can reach that goal. Every day I look at my grandmother and say to myself:

"If I get to that age, I've already opened been a winner."

Because it is not easy to survive in times of pandemic, we never know when bad times will knock on our door.

Take care of yourselves every day, the most difficult but most enjoyable race is the race of life.

What images spring to mind when you hear the word competition? I probably think of basketball. This Is my favorite sport and plays basketball. I played in several competitions and I practiced hard to compete for the highest level. Basketball helped me to compete to inspire others especially teaching basketball to kids. Competition also motivates me to become a better person everyday.

When I hear Competition, it comes to mind my start in the martial arts (kung-fu), at that time I was a little younger about 8 or 9 years ago, I trained hard with my classmates to move up a category, and also for tournaments and competition, I always worked hard to improve and thanks to the teachings of my shifu (teacher),who told me to never give up, no matter how hard the competition is, with perseverance and perseverance I was able to go to regional and national competitions.

A rivalry where two or more parties strive for a common goal that only one will obtain, THAT IS COMPETITION.

Whenever I hear this word, it reminds of how life works. Take the food chain as example, we humans are at the top of the food chain while other animals are at the bottom. Without competition, Humans will never be at the top. Another reason is that competition brings out your true potential and image, when your on the Battle ground facing other worthy opponent, your courage increases and you are force to perform at your highest limit in order to win. Also due to competition, the world we all know is getting innovative every single day because of the action of scientist and other agencies, when scientist compet among themselves, they find new ways of doing things and discover world mysteries, so competition itself is a natural phenomenon of life.
The strong will prevail while the weak will tremble.

What normally pop up on my mind each time I hear the the word "competition" is 2 people or two groups of persons competing for some sort of prize 🏆. Most people used to shy away from competition, challenge or contest thinking that they are incompetent or griping with the fear of failure. But in my own opinion life will be so boring without competitions, and challenges. For example have you ever think of how this amazing platform will feel like without the contests organized by different communities? Gosh Maybe a grave yard because a lot of people wouldn't know what to post yes contests serve as a guide to many especially the newbies, it motivates many users to write, and to be creative. I personally used to get that extra motivation through competition, I used to bring out the best or the extraordinary in me if I felt challenged, and I measured my abilities through competition so I see it as a beautiful thing especially if someone compete for a good Course, just for self improvement, to become a better version of him/her self to to put down others. Since I was little I started dancing, it was something that came in me. When I started I saw it as something fun but as I got older I could see that I really love to dance.

Competition is the great effort and dedication that human beings put into dreams, the desires go beyond crossing a goal, sometimes we compete with ourselves, we demand ourselves and we give everything to be the best, to stand out, to make people proud. our parents and be worthy of admiration. The winner tries to win. The loser learns the lesson of victory from the winner, because only the loser knows the true value of victory.
Whenever I post, I never think about where my number will come from. So does the competition. And it involves both victory and defeat. But the goal is to learn from the winner. And what lessons did we learn from the loser? Because the winner tries as hard as the loser. But one loses. And a loser never loses to a loser. He loses to the one who wins. So always support the winner as well as the loser.

The word "competition" is a situation in which two or more people in any organization try to be more successful than other people.It is also the activity or a condition where people strive to gain or win something by defeating or establishing superiority over others.
In a sense, the word "competition" brings to my mind two or more people competing for some sort of price. Pakistan vs india....
Whenever I heard the word competition Pakistan and india come across to my mind. I am a Pakistani and I know how aggressive, emotional and mental stress and anger we feel whenever we compete with india.. from almost past 8 decades we both are bitter enemies to each other. Both countries have fought 3 major wars and lost countless number of soldiers as well as money. I am a proud Pakistani so I always want the win of Pakistan.
In cricket matches this conflict is on another level. Whenever these two teams meet each other in cricket tournament, then that match not remain just match.. that match become a war..
But we are hoping for peace between two nations. Let's hope for the best... ❤️😍

A medal is the first image/picture that I can directly associate with competitions. Winning or getting the medal is always my goal whenever I am in a competitive scenario.

When I hear that word competition I see it as an opportunity to test my ability and that makes me motivated to face the situation instead of being scared, panic and withdraw from it. I always takes it as a challenge that I have to win, in other to achieve this aim, I must try my best. Anytime I participate in contest or challenge or competition, it helps me to overcome my dear and doubts and after completing, there is relief, joy and satisfaction, I also see it as an avenue of getting more information and experience that will help me to improve and be great in my work, if I don't win the competition I don't take it as a failure and regret rather I take correction and make improvement.

Hello @ftz, what comes to mind when I hear the word competition is;
Competition is very common in most of the activities we do because we all want to be winners. Competition can be defined as a situation where two or more people strive for a common goal at the same time.

When I hear that word, all that runs in my mind is business.

The business world is very competitive and soo tight because all business personnel’s want to maximize their sales and make profits. If you are to notice, competition arises in business basing on the prices, quality and quantity of commodities sold.

Advantages of competition in business
• lower prices for commodities. Due to stiff competition, prices are favorable so that customers can be able to afford them from the different sellers.

• Best quality products. Competition facilitates production of good quality products so as to maximize profits

• Increased productivity. There is a higher production rate of commodities due to competition so as to cater for all customers’ needs.

Disadvantages if competition
• Closure of small businesses. Small businesses tend to be left out when competition is high so they end up exiting from the business world.

• Sale of counterfeit products. Because of competition, some people sale counterfeit things because they want to make more money and have heavy stock as well.

In Conclusion,
Competition is both a good and bad situation depending on where it is applied. My mind first thought about the business world so it was my main focus.

What images come to mind when you hear the word "competition?

For me the competition is knowing how to live with the money we get from our work, it is a competition for life to know how to live and manage what we have will be what will keep you hopeful for a better tomorrow.

The most important thing is to know how to live to survive by competing with yourself to keep up the fight, not letting yourself be overcome by fatigue or stopping the destiny that we deserve in life.

When ever i hear the word competition, the first thing that comes to my mind is a contest or a struggle for an award ,prize or superiority and it is also means two people competing for something.
People do compete for so many things in life such as sport, games, economy to work, and even in education. But the fact is that some people feel shy when they hear that word competition and when they have an opportunity to test their ability they will be scared and panic, this makes them to withdraw themselves the the situation, but I understand that without competition one stop growing as a person.it is a very beautiful thing to compete in order to improve our life.
Competition helps to break through our fear and also doubt and after completing there is always a joy and satisfaction.

When we talk about competition, there is one important one that comes to mind and that is competition with ourselves, this type of competition requires you to not necessarily compete with but with yourself in the sense that you make sure you are better today than you were yesterday. This would require you to be self aware, challenge yourself to do new things to stretch your ability, to learn from your mistakes and make sure you never repeat them. To learn from others and seek help from those that have taken the journey you wish to take are really important aspects of this type of competition.
