My name is happinness, and I'm a native of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. Here, there are some native food that really makes me feel like I'm at home, each time I eat those foods.

One of the best food the really brings back the "Homey feelings" is when is eat a soup called Afang soup. Indeed, it is a soup that is commonly known to the south West, south east and south south part of the country.
Today I want to present to you the necessary steps in cooking the food. On the other hand, I will also share a picture of the last time I and my mother cook the soup.
Steps and Method of cooking Afang soup
First of all, you'll place your assorted meat, fish and put just two cups of clean water into the pot. You'll also put salt, and cube, cook it until it get soft.
Again, when the fish and stock fish is soft, and the water in the pot is about to dry off, you will now put water leave, periwinkle and pepper then let it boil for few minutes, depending on the quantity you are preparing.
After some minutes, you will now add the afang (ground one) and live it to boil for few minutes. Then finally, you will add palm oil and allow it to simmer on the time frame of three minutes.
Behold the Great Afang Soup is ready.

- Ground Afang leave
- sliced water leave
- Fish
- Stockfish
- Meat
- Periwinkle
- Crayfish
- Palm oil
- Pepper (Fresh or dry)
- Stock cubes
- Salt
- Water
