Greetings Steem Skillshare,

I'm very grateful for your hospitality. I am working in a Japanese garments company, Tokyo Dress. It has a Cebu Branch and a Japanese Branch found in Aomori Ken. I work for 10 years in Cebu and 6 years here in Japan.I became interested in learning Japanese because the company sends its workers to Japan and Japan is a dream place to everyone. The work procedures are all Japanese and it's a little troublesome because there are only two interpreters. It crossed to my mind how communication is important to work, I need to learn Japanese. I bought a Japanese books and studied. I also watch Japanese anime series like the famous Dragonball Z. It is a slow process but little by little I remembered basic vocabularies and tried to use them at work.

Fortunately, with my enthusiasm and hard work, I was sent to work to Japan in the year 2011 and it was a dream come true.I doubled my effort to study Japanese. It was a great opportunity while working I am learning Japanese. I made a good relationship with Japanese workers. I tried to follow Japanese cultures and traditions. Visiting Temples, watching Japanese TV, going to hot Springs, and observe Japanese Holidays. And because I played basketball I became friends with high school students. Spending my vacant time with them is a big plus for my development on my Japanese Language Skills. After three year I returned back to the Philippines.

Through good luck, I returned to Japan last September 2019. I was a reunited with all my friends. I was very to happy and surreal. I continued studying Japanese, start practicing JLPT Exams from N5 then N4. I studied regularly before and after work. From reading, grammar, and listening. I also write my diary using Kanji. Last Dec 6, 2020, I took the JLPT N4 Exam in Aomori Ken, Japan. Fortunately, I passed the exam and receive my certificate this February 8, 2021. Finally, I got a certificate in my Japanese Skills. Through learning Japanese I became more approachable to both Filipinos and Japanese coworkers and experience the best of Japan without bound.
