Hello everyone, in the #Steemskillshare Community. Now we have another lesson to learn by sir @abu78. This week he gives us another lesson which is about ***PHRASES.*** As a student, I need to understand and do research about the topic for today. Hope I will learn and understand the topic so that I was able to use this upon making content here in steemit.

Define phrases and give five examples.

A Phrases is a group of words in a sentence that expresses the overall structure of the sentence. It can be a long or short word but does not include a subject and object. Therefore phrases cannot stand alone in a sentence because they can't give a complete meaning. Here is the example

  • In the sky
  • Besides the window
  • Along with the table
  • After the meal
  • Have been playing

In your own words, list and explain the types of phrases we have including two examples each.
